1st day - Wednesday: individual arrival in Dolo (Venice)
Individual arrival at the B&B accommodation. Free time to visit individually Venice (reachable with public transports). Return to the accommodation to overnight.
2nd day - Thursday: Venice – Lido – Pellestrina - Chioggia 52 km
Breakfast. Meeting at B&B with our assistant and delivery of the bicycles. Departure to Venice, cycling in the Riviera del Brenta. On the way you can stop to see some Villas in Mira like Villa Widmann and Villa Foscari in Malcontenta, realized by Palladio. Bike to Marghera then crossing the bridge across the lagoon separating Venice from the mainland. Arrival at the Ferry-boat Terminal boarding to Lido. After landing, ride along a wooded path. Follow the signs to Alberoni where it is worth a visit in the ancient fishing village of Malamocco with its typical Venetian “calli and campielli”. Possibility to explore by bicycle the embankments of “murazzi” for a swim in the clear waters of the Adriatic Sea. At Alberoni you will take the ferry boat to the island of Pellestrina, another fishing village full of colourful houses and famous for its shipyards. When we reach the natural oasis of Cà Roman, another ferry-boat will take us to Chioggia, cheerful and lively fishing port where you will spend the night.
3rd day - Friday: Chioggia – Padova - Dolo 68 km
Departure after breakfast. Riding up the river Bacchiglione along country villages like Correzzola, where you can visit the Corte Benedettina, and Pontelongo, you will then reach Padua. Visit of the city centre, of roman origin. Bicycle tour around Prato della Valle, the biggest circular square in Europe. Then visit St. Anthony Basilica which preserves the remains and relics of the saint. Visit in the beautiful and ancient Caffè Pedrocchi, the squares, the University. Ideally riding along the ancient Via Annia along the Piovego channel and then the Brenta river where you can admire numerous villas, the ancient Doges’ houses. Very famous are Villa Pisani in Stra and Villa Foscarini Rossi with its Shoe Museum. Arrival in Dolo. End of the bike tour. Overnight.
4th Day - Saturday: Venice
Breakfast. End of services.
On availability you can extend your hotel stay in the Riviera del Brenta to spend one more day free in Venice.

The route will take us through the islands of the lagoon and the Pellestrina ones, two narrow strips of land dividing the mainland from the sea. Up the river Bacchiglione we will visit the beautiful city of Padua and the many venetian villas of Serenissima Republic along the Riviera del Brenta.
