TECHNICAL FEATURES OF THE ROUTE

Terrain: flat on paved roads with low traffic or on embankment cycle paths.

Roads: 85% paved, 15% unpaved

Bicycle: 7/21 speed cycle touring with panniers, padlock, km counter and mineral water. Pedal-assisted bicycle (on request with a supplement of € 15). See our bikes.

Duration: variable from 6 to 8 hours depending on the speed and the stops that are made

Length: variable from about 25 to 45 km depending on the place of departure and arrival chosen

Difficulty: easy for everyone

ADVICE
For those leaving from Padua:

the meeting point is at the car park between the bus terminal and the raised bicipark to the right of the train station. Our staff will deliver the bicycles you have requested and will give you a map of the route. We advise you to take a short panoramic tour of Padua to admire the Prato della Valle, the fruit and grass squares, the Basilica del Santo, the Duomo and the Pedrocchi coffee. Please note that the padlock supplied is not a safe vehicle, therefore you are responsible for using the bicycle in accordance with the highway code and there is no insurance coverage against theft.

For those leaving from Stra:

the meeting point is at the car and bus parking area on the right of the entrance to the Villa Pisani. Our staff will deliver the bicycles you have requested and will give you a map of the route. We recommend a visit to the villa before starting your ride.

For those leaving from Dolo:

the meeting point is at the car park of Villa Ferretti Angeli in Via Brentabassa. Our staff will deliver the bicycles you have requested and will give you a map of the route. You are already on the path.

The arrival point in Venice is at the Tronchetto island at the People Mover stop (indicated by signs). At the end of the cycle path along the Ponte della Libertà, take the first ramp on the right downhill and follow it to Tronchetto. At the end of the straight on the left is the People Mover stop.

→ Attention: the return of bicycles in Venice must take place no later than the times indicated on your confirmation voucher, i.e. between 5.00 pm and 5.30 pm.

If you have chosen to finish the ride in Fusina, where you can enjoy a beautiful view, you can continue to Venice with the number 16 boat which arrives at the Zattere in just 25 minutes. The bikes must be left in the Fusina car park near the ticket office. To consult the timetables of the boats to Venice click here

If you choose to continue to Mestre, you can return the bicycles in Marghera, at our depot and offices in Via della Rinascita 6, along the cycle path. The Mestre railway station is 900 meters from our offices, a 10-minute walk. If you want to go to Venice, you can take the 6L bus (runs every 15 minutes) or the Tram to Mestre (runs every 10 minutes).

→ In these cases, the return must take place by 16.30. For those who choose the release in Fusina or Mestre (Marghera) discount of € 5 per person.
